Fill out our scholarship application form to see if your dancer can win one of our many scholarships. Dancers’ 3rd grade and up are welcome to apply!

The Lewiston/Grand Island Dance Center Scholarship Policy is to promote students’ disciplined study of high-quality dance instruction. Scholarships are awarded based on the eligibility requirements below.

Abbondanza-Gallo Scholarship (4 classes for the season)

One scholarship awarded per studio. If 2 dancers win this scholarship, they will receive 3 classes for the season - $1,170 each.

For a Dancer in 8th-12th grade. $1,485.00

Miss Ricky Alexander Scholarship (2 classes for the season)

One scholarship awarded per studio. If 2 dancers win this scholarship, they will receive 1 class for the season - $405 each.

For a Dancer in 3rd-9th grade. $810.00

Scholarship for a Study (1 class for the season)

5 scholarships awarded per studio (Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop).

For a Dancer in 3rd-12th grade. $450

Lewiston/Grand Island Dance Scholarship Award

8 scholarships awarded per studio. $50

Summer Session Scholarship

4 scholarships awarded per studio.

Dancer can pick which summer session to apply scholarship to. Cost of Summer Session

Eligibility Requirements:

·      Applicants must be a student of Lewiston/Grand Island Dance Center for at least one season.

·      Applicants must take at least 3 classes.

·      Applicants must have good attendance.

·      Behavior & Attitude: We will assess how the applicant behaves towards their fellow students, their level of dedication, their attitude towards learning new material and perfecting material they already know. They should show promise, commitment and overall good attitude towards their Teachers and Peers.

Steps To Follow:

1.        Complete the Scholarship Application and Video Form. The video submission should take considerable effort. We will not consider applications with a submission that is not age appropriate. Please keep videos 30 seconds – 1 minute in length.

2.        Print out, and Have on of your child’s instructors complete and sign the Teacher Recommendation Form.

3.        Submit finished application here. Forms must be submitted no later than April 3rd.

Scholarship winners will be announced at the end of Recital 2026. Winners MUST BE PRESENT to accept their awards. Photos of winners will be taken onstage following the recital.
